Oriental Medicine suggests limiting raw or cold food during cold or damp weather; therefore, cooked fruit is better than raw in cold or damp weather.
1. Blender: Frozen blueberries, banana, rice milk or almond milk. Put in Blender. Easy, yummy, very nutritious shake!
2. Easy: Slice apples, pears, peaches. Place in glass baking dish. Sprinkle cinnamon on top. NO SUGAR! Cover with lid or foil. Bake 40 min. at 350.
OR apples, nectarines, strawberries. Yum! Try it!
3. Sweet potato. Just wrap in foil. Put in oven one hour at 350. No need to wash or peel. Let cool 15 min. Open foil, cut open, eat with fork. I personally skip the skin. No sugar. No nothing.
For breakfast, bake the sweet potato the night before, put in fridge, warm in microwave. Anytime, just throw in oven while at home. Super easy and super nutritious! Simplify your life! Just try it.
4. Breakfast: a banana, a bowl of cherries, and a boiled egg. Why not?
Note: I just saw Almond Milk at Bi-Lo Grocery for $2 a quart. The Rice Milk was $3.85. Go for the Almond Milk! NO SOY MILK.
